Today I baked and frosted a bunch (about 5 dozen) spring sugar cookies. Most of them are to give away, but many are for eating! I think they're super cute:
I use my mom's recipe, which I love. Cream together: 1/2 cup shortening 1 cup sugar Beat in: 2 eggs 1/2 cup cream 1 tsp vanilla Add: 3 1/2 cups flour 4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt Bake @ 375 for just 5-10 minutes -- do not overbake.
You guys look like you are having too much fun. Also evergreen trees are always green so that is not necessarily a sign of spring. Sarah and I would not mind if you mailed us some cookies. Love ya sis
Melissa: "My hood is not a great hairstylist." Mike: "But I am."
Mike: "A belly dancer from Venezuela?" Melissa: "I think she was from Sweden."
Mike (with despair): "What am I doing for a living?" Melissa: "I look up the 1-800 number for Depends [Adult Diapers] for Ernie. That's what I do for a living."
